Nancy Samantha Aguilar
“Valor is not the absence of fear. It is the decision to keep moving forward despite it.”
Nancy Samantha Aguilar is a proud United States Navy 100% disabled combat veteran who served as a Naval Intelligence Linguist, supporting combat operations and the National Security Agency (NSA) with a Top Secret security code clearance. As a mother of four and grandmother of one granddaughter, Nancy understands firsthand the importance of family, service, sacrifice, and financial security.
Today, Nancy continues that mission as a Veterans Case Manager with the Veterans Service Division of AO Globe Life. She is an independent insurance agent and owner of AO Agents of Valor LLC, dedicated to helping veterans and working families secure financial protection against unexpected hardships and final expenses.
Operating under National Producer Number #22085479, Nancy serves active-duty military members, veterans, spouses, union members, and civilian families across the United States.
As an advocate first, Nancy works in major cooperation with the Veteran Service Organizations across America.
Her mission is simple: Continue serving those who served, protect the families behind them, and ensure no family faces life's most difficult moments unprepared.
I Chose Life. I Chose Purpose. I Chose to Fight.
My journey from serving my country to fighting for my own life has been anything but easy. After years of battling debilitating pain and neurological conditions from a rare connective tissue disease — Hypermobility Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) — and a healthcare system that left me feeling unheard and dismissed, I faced a choice: surrender to the suffering — or fight for the life I knew I still had ahead of me.
I fought for answers, for my diagnoses, and for the care I deserved. Through that battle, I made a promise to myself: I would never leave another veteran behind to feel abandoned, mistreated, or forgotten by the very system meant to serve them.
Today, I may still rely on a wheelchair, but my circumstances have never defined my strength or limited my mission. My pain became my purpose, and my struggles became the foundation of my passion for protecting veterans and their families.
“My pain became my purpose, and my struggles became the foundation of my passion.”
As a Navy veteran and Veterans Service Division leader, I have dedicated my next chapter to educating, advocating for, and protecting those who once raised their right hand to serve.
Hypermobility Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS)
A rare connective tissue disease — and a mission to make sure no family faces it unheard or alone.
Hypermobility Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) is a rare inherited connective tissue disorder. Because collagen is the 'glue' that holds the body together — skin, joints, blood vessels, and organs — hEDS can cause chronic joint pain, frequent dislocations, neurological symptoms, and complications that many doctors are never trained to recognize. For years, Nancy's pain and neurological symptoms were dismissed before she finally received the right diagnosis.
A Family Journey
Nancy's four children have all been diagnosed with the same hEDS. What began as her personal battle became a family mission — and a determination to ensure no veteran, spouse, or child faces a rare disease unheard, dismissed, or alone.
The Care That Changed Everything
Nancy owes her healing success to Upper Cervical Care Chiropractor Dr. Heath Lambert of Natural Healing of Tampa Bay.
Dr. Heath Lambert
Natural Healing of Tampa Bay
Upper cervical care is a precise, gentle discipline focused on the alignment of the atlas and axis — the top two vertebrae where the spine meets the brainstem. For patients with connective tissue disorders like hEDS, that alignment can be the difference between chronic, debilitating pain and real, lasting healing.
Allies in the Fight for a Rightful Diagnosis
Nancy's path to a correct diagnosis was not walked alone. Two remarkable providers stood beside her as allies in that fight — and remain part of her healing today.
Bringing Breakthrough Therapy to Veterans
Because of Nancy, Dr. Lambert has now applied to accept VA Optum Insurance and is currently awaiting approval. Together, Nancy and Heath realized this breakthrough upper cervical therapy can save veterans — many of whom are living with chronic pain, neurological symptoms, and connective tissue complications the VA system has struggled to explain or treat.
Once VA Optum approval is granted, veterans with hEDS and related conditions will be able to access Dr. Lambert's upper cervical care through their VA benefits — bringing real, lasting relief to the brothers and sisters in arms who have too often been left unheard.
If you or a loved one is living with a connective tissue disorder, chronic pain, or a neurological condition that the VA or civilian system has struggled to explain, upper cervical care may be worth exploring. Find a certified upper cervical care physician in your area.

Spread the Word. Save a Family.
Awareness is the first treatment. Share Nancy's story so the next veteran, spouse, or child doesn't have to fight for a diagnosis alone.
Courage. Sacrifice. Compassion. Resilience. Leadership. Service.
Valor (noun): Great courage in the face of danger, adversity, or overwhelming odds. The strength to act with honor, integrity, and determination, even when doing so requires personal sacrifice.
More Than a Name. It's a Way of Life.
At Agents of Valor, valor is more than a word. It represents the life, character, and mission of its founder, Nancy Samantha Aguilar.
A United States Navy veteran, 100% disabled combat veteran, military spouse, mother, grandmother, entrepreneur, and advocate, Nancy's story is not simply one of military service or professional achievement. It is a story of extraordinary resilience, personal sacrifice, compassion, and rebuilding a life when nearly everything had been lost.
Her journey reflects a powerful belief:
“Valor is not defined by how many times life knocks us down, but by the courage it takes to rise again—and the willingness to help others rise with us.”
A Lifetime of Service Beyond the Uniform
Nancy served her country as a United States Navy Intelligence Linguist supporting national security operations.
Beyond her military career, she supported her active-duty spouse while helping raise a family of six children, navigating the sacrifices and responsibilities of military family life.
Her entrepreneurial journey included breeding and raising dachshunds and founding an all-women's IT support community on Facebook, where women could exchange knowledge, develop confidence, and support one another.
Her compassion has also been demonstrated through deeply personal acts of service. When a close friend battling cancer and her 13-year-old son faced housing insecurity, Nancy opened her home to them, offering shelter and support during an uncertain time.
From Losing Everything to Rebuilding a Life
Perhaps one of Nancy's greatest demonstrations of valor occurred long after her military service.
During a devastating divorce and parental alienation dispute, Nancy experienced profound personal hardship, including the loss of her home, separation from her family, and a period of homelessness.
She also faced experiences within the Hillsborough County legal system that left her feeling unheard, mistreated, and without the support she desperately needed.
Nancy is also a survivor of child abuse, spouse abuse, financial and litigation abuse, and sexual assault. She knows firsthand the courage it takes to escape, to heal, and to rebuild when the very systems meant to protect you fall short.
At a time when she had spent much of her life protecting and providing for others, Nancy found herself struggling to survive without the family support she once knew.
Yet even in those darkest moments, she refused to allow her circumstances to determine the rest of her story.
She rebuilt her life from the ground up.
Not without pain. Not without setbacks. And certainly not without sacrifice.
But with determination, faith, courage, and a renewed sense of purpose, Nancy began creating a future centered on independence, service, and helping others navigate their own difficult circumstances.
Her experiences gave her a deeper understanding of what it means to lose stability, face uncertainty, and need someone willing to stand beside you.
Today, those experiences shape the compassion and commitment behind Agents of Valor.
“Because sometimes the people most determined to protect others are the very people who know what it feels like to have no one there to protect them.”
Turning Personal Adversity Into Advocacy
Living with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS), chronic pain, dystonia, and complex neurological challenges, Nancy has faced significant physical adversity.
Rather than allowing these challenges to silence her, she uses her experiences to educate and encourage others living with chronic pain and neurological conditions.
Through online communities, she shares personal coping experiences, educational resources, and self-advocacy strategies.
Her commitment to improving veterans' access to healthcare also led her to encourage an upper cervical chiropractor to pursue participation in the VA healthcare system, with the goal of making specialized care more accessible to veterans.
“Nancy believes that personal suffering can become a powerful source of compassion, understanding, and meaningful change.”
Leadership, Achievement, and Building a Legacy
Today, Nancy serves as a Veterans Case Manager and Supervising Agent with AO Globe Life's Veterans Service Division, helping veterans, military families, and civilians understand their benefits and prepare financially for life's most difficult moments.
Her professional achievements have earned her awards and recognition within AO Globe Life, reflecting her dedication to service and professional growth.
As the founder of Agents of Valor, Nancy's mission extends beyond her own success.
She is committed to mentoring future agents, developing successful business partners, and creating opportunities for others to achieve financial independence, professional growth, and meaningful careers.
Her ultimate goal is to build a community of leaders who understand that true success is not simply measured by income or recognition, but by the positive impact they make in the lives of others.
What Valor Means to Us
Courage means facing life's greatest challenges without surrendering your purpose.
Integrity means doing what is right, especially when it is difficult.
Compassion means helping others, even when you have experienced hardship yourself.
Resilience means rebuilding when life has taken nearly everything away.
Service means placing people and families at the heart of what we do.
Leadership means creating opportunities for others to grow and succeed.
